Brownsville, TX
The International / Southmost Choice Neighborhood Plan is rooted in one of Brownsville’s oldest and most strategically located neighborhoods, just south of downtown and near major educational institutions. Led by the City of Brownsville and the Housing Authority of the City of Brownsville, the initiative centers on the redevelopment of Victoria Gardens and the nearby Citrus Gardens Annex, both of which reflect the challenges of aging public housing stock.
